My God,
what a wonderful women,
It makes me think back to a memorial day several years ago,
when I was with the old dodge and my oldest she was 3 i think,
Well we were watching a service after completing a parade for a near by town, when she reached up and pulled my sleeve and asked Daddy what is memorial for?
I didn't have time to answer before an older gentleman quickly turned and said O child you have asked an important question,
thing is he took her in his arms and sat at the base of the war dead monument and began to speak to her,
every time i tried to approach or get close enough to hear, an old boney hand would slowly raise and slowly wave me off
I will never know the words spoken by that man but My girl speak of that man even to this day, she speaks of the greatness of this wonderful country and her love of it, the respect of those who serve, once again I find myself in debt of a solider,
to the fallen I grieve, for the ones over there still, I think of often and pray,
we love you one and all.
