While i've not hauled a tremendous amount for hire, I've driven atleast 200 thousand miles in the last few years hauling power wagons. I will not do it anymore, You can have it shipped way cheaper than doing it yourself.
Key to transport is you need to haul 2 at a time, or your going to get violated and it will leave a mark.
My freight came out at 1.37 loaded mile off uship, my lady friend will haul it for 1k cash money 1055 loaded miles. She will probably be hauling something special along with it, airplane, they pay big bucks a loaded mile. So her gross may be 4000 by the time she gets to me, you simply can't complain about 4 bucks a mile.
My stone freight is 330 bucks to evansville indiana, 200 miles round trip. That's a $1.65 mile, noway would i do it for that but hey, Trucking is not for me.
Save yourself some pain and have Jim hauls hauls it.
