Man, that sounds like a real trip. And you did that in the M37? That sounds like a heroic feat.
Speaking of rain and runoff, they (whoever "they" are...corps of engineers, I guess) anticipate the summer pool in the lake to be 4 to 6 feet higher than normal. That will put it at 2066.5 to 2068.5. Now we don't have near the amount of lowlands that surround this lake as there are around Lake Cd'A, but there are some homes that have been built in the flood plain since they abolished the county building department. And there are a lot of areas in the town that could actually see flooding if it reaches the 6+ above stage. Unfortunately the wide open dam at Albeni on the west end allows for the possibility of the kokanee fry to wash out. I was in the Clark's Fork river today and when going up river you could really feel the effort needed to push against the current.
