I need to tranport a vehicle from point A to point B, a distance of 760 miles. But its not as simple paying a per mile fee. The transporter has to figure in something for him to get to point A, assuming he/she doesn't live there, plus determine if point B will leave him in BFE w/o a paying load. They incur expenses even when your vehicle isn't on the trailer, and factor that into what they charge...... In other words I don't think there is a one-size-fits-all formula for transport estimates.
