The two wire sender was on earlier models, but I don't know when the changeover occurred. No, wait, the changeover occurred at #83922966 Det, 88766501 California, sometime during B3 production. So somebody may have mis-matched sender to harness/gauge?
I don't know the ohms range for the two wire, but my own one wire goes about 10 to about 100, +/-.
