DC and I have a couple of NV4500 gearboxes with married 205 transfer cases that we are planning to install in both the M37 and WDX PW. I think the married tcase is the way to go since you don't have to deal with the intermediate shaft problem and the married unit comes out in about the same locat1on as the divorced original tcase does. If you move the radiator forward you can gain as much as 6" which would allow you to use a divorced NV4500 with the original T-case. There is a bellhousing for the 318/360 that is drilled for the NV4500. If you use a married unit you will have to have a rear support for the tcase to help support the cantilevered weight of the t-case and gearbox otherwise something will give (probably the aluminum bellhousing).
