I think some of the newer MoPar motors are too costly, eg, the 4.7 V8 (which was designed by Mercedes engineers before the "merger" ), that their production costs have become too high. They need to simplify and things will be OK.

I see in the computer industry that some companies are turning to the high-end to make more profits, I think those tech companies will also lose their competitive advantages.

MoPar needs to also stick to its roots and not chase profits from ever more costly designs. I think the MoPar execs wanted to become a junior Mercedes.
