I've given this a brief amount of thought in passing, but I've done nothing so far.

It might be possible to attach something to the pillar structure around the door, but I'm not sure what this structure consists of, since my headliner is installed and is blocking my view of this area.

Sometimes I have thought about finding some kind of bonding agent to bond a metal plate to the cab sheet metal. The plate would have a lug (or eye) which would secure the shoulder belt anchor. There are some really strong bonding agents out there, but I don't which ones are which yet. I haven't tried to do any research on this yet. The bigger the plate, the bigger the bond area and the stronger the bond. Of course, if you try to bond to the curved part of the cab, you'd have to make a curved plate.

Most people (including me) would probably rather have some good solid welds or bolt-and-nut connections, but I don't want to have to drill holes to the outside of the cab.

This is a good topic to me. If you come up with a good solution to this, please post it!

Good luck,

Matt
