I'm still a bit confused about hooking up the oil filter on a Chrysler Flathead 6 industrial engine. I'm including a picture. In the picture I labeled the following.

A = Bypass relief valve????
B = 1/8" pipe plug above bypass valve
C = 1/8" pipe plug above B
D = 1/8" pipe plug behind oil fill
E = 1/8" pipe plug at front of block behind alternator
F = Fitting in bottom of filter
G = Fitting in side of filter

If I understand you correctly "G connects to E" and "F connects to either B or C"

I had a couple other responses but they didn't exactly agree. Can anyone answer the following for me?

Is "A" the bypass relief valve?

Which is the pressure port in the block? My guess would be "B"

Which is the return port in the block?

Which is the "IN" fitting on the filter?

Sorry for all the questions!
Thanks again
Tim
