I hate to break it to you but I am at a point where I must get rid of most my stuff, as I have to move soon. I am getting rid of all my project vehicles but one. Well unfortunatly, the M-37's are on the list to go. I really hate to do this, and it hurts to, but They gotta go.
Anyhow, M-37 #1 is the "good" one. It is a 1951 Model with an almost PERFECT Body and box. The front sheetmetal is decent, but the front fenders have some small dings in them. Nothing serious tho. This truck has no engine in it, and that is how it was when I got it. This is an almost rust free VA. truck. It is complete except for engine and winch. (I had planned a Repower for it..) All Glass is good, the dash is uncut and all the gaugues and switches are intact. Even the seats are in decent shape. This truck is about as nice as you will find. It has a hard top with a small oval back window and has a aftermarket heater installed as well.
Truck number #2 is my parts truck. I do not have it at my home yet. This truck has a PTO winch, but I have come to find out, it is not the correct winch for the truck. It still looks like it would do the job tho. But anyhow The parts truck has good front sheetmetal but the cab and box are totaly gone. The tailgate is salvagable as are the doors. Complete drivetrain, interior has been butchered some, the truck is a soft top, but the canvas is torn. Underhood is complete and origional expect that a 12 volt GM alternator is in place of the correct generator. The engine is in it and turns over, but I was told it has a seveir rod knock. It has the correct carb, air cleaner and plugwires.
I have one set of troop seats that go with these trucks, the Good truck has a rollbar in the back, and I have a couple of small parts that go with the trucks. The parts truck has a Jerry can mount on it.
I am asking $2,500. for the whole shot. I will NOT separate. I would consider trade as well. I dont have time or money or energy for projects now, (thats why these two are leaving) But I would consider a swap for a decent running ROADWORTHY driver of something like a W-300 or a W-200 Crew Cab or a WDX-WM300, M-37,M-715, Jeep FC-150-FC-170, 56 IHC 3/4 ton 4X4 or some other oddball interesting Military or Civilian 4X4 truck of somekind.
The Good project truck is located in Lapeer Michigan and the Parts truck is in Marlette Michigan about 30 minutes north east of Lapeer.
