I found a '73 340 cheap, but it's kind of a morphodite. Long story short, I am putting in a 4" stroke crank that Chrysler sells for $315. That will make it a 416. I know, I know I'll be breaking parts. But I plan to go with an NV4500 trans and I will probably end up with more modern axles and transfer case. Ray said he is going to work on a kit to put a NV4500 and NPG205 into the M37s. Sounds good to me. I also want a little more power for on the street. It is still a 5,500 pound truck that I need to get rolling.
