I've got over 150K on my 91 Dodge and have spent nothing on repairs and it starts easier on a 20 degree day than anyones phord does on a 90 Degree day . My best friend bought a 92 Dodge 4X4 Cummins because he liked his 63 W300 and his 67 W300 and liked it because he could pull 2 horses & 2 mules to Colorado and it would do 19.6MPG round trip . His 17 year young son wrecked it and he tried to find another Dodge and couldn't so he bought a 97 F350 PS. The best mileage he ever got with it empty was 17 MPG and with his stock trailer empty it would to 11 MPG and got real bad when he put something in the trailer . He has driven it 92K miles and told me the other day that he has been out over a thousand bucks in repairs and if it ever starts two days in a row he is going to sell it . Two phord dealers are still scratching their head trying to figure it out . Yesterday he took delivery of a 2001 Dodge Diesel and in 3 weeks his 92 Dodge will be back on the road after a 4 year rest in the junk pile and meanwhile his 97 phord sits in the driveway and maybe it will start when it gets back to 60 degrees . If anyone needs a phord I can put you in touch with him. Sorry this so long , but if I can help someone keep from making a 30 thousand dollar mistake it was worth it .
