3M stuff is just full of fillers. You can still see scratches from sanding at times, because it doesn't take them out, it fills them. Presta stuff brings on a little heat, but more chemical reaction to kind of "reactivate" the paint, momentarily. They are a little more gentle than 3M compounds, and cheaper. Stop on by if you want some practice to try them out.
