it depends on which series 318 it has. the A318-1 the A318-2 or the A318-3. the HP onthe data tag is the net HP. gross HP varies on which series eninge it is. I think the gross HP varies from 200 to 202? Norm? time for the poly expert to pipe in. NPG onthe plate is referring to New process gear transmission which would be the NP420. the NP 420 only has snynchros in 3rd and 4th. I like the 420 but others seem to like the 435 better. the 435 makes a better towing trans
