sounds like your engine us just completely worn out at 0 to 10 psi oil pessure. needs total overhaul. you can run 50 plus all day with a fresh engine and good U joints. ther is tons of info on this site in the archives about doing repowers with other engines. in the end it is less expensive to rebuild the flathead but it is really about what you want in it sometimes. do you stil have the 6 blade cooling fan? they are very noisy and spins at very high rpms so when you are offroad in low rpm conditions the fan still pumps tons of air. you can switch to a 4 blade fan and a larger fan pulley and that will quiet things dona a bit.
