As I sit here and read the posts about the brake linning Machine, it takes me back when I was a young boy in my Dads shop. The Cars would come in for service, get jacked up and 4 jack stands would go under. I helped. No lifts back then. Your creeper was your freind. You would take the wheels off to check brakes. If needed you would reline the linning yourself, take apart the wheelcyinders run a hone threw them replace with new cups. Clean all brake parts, lube as needed. Install, adjust, bleed brakes and finish. A road test to check brake pedal and how she stops. All items were in house on the shelf. Today take it apart, toss all the parts in the trash and call you local parts store for replacement parts. {made in China} Some service remains the same but alot has changed. And I know its not for the better. As the older I get the more I miss the past. American Workers getting up early in the morn, Mom packed luch for the kettle and off they went. What ever they did they did it 110 percent.Respect for there co workers and neighbors. We must not forget and Put Americans Back to work. Americans should supply America and the French should supply France. Happy Mothers Day. Take Care and God Bless America.
