Well, here's how I had it earlier, before I even asked this question. I had a positive wire from (+) side of battery to the starter. From the starter, I have another wire tied in, going to ignition switch. However, My ignition switch is just a on/off flip switch. From the opposite side of the switch, I have the wire running to the ballast, then from the other side of the ballast to the ignition coil. I tried to crank it today, and it burn't up the whole ballast. I knew that you are SUPPOSED to have a second wire running straight to the ignition coil for starting, but I had read where someone on here has it like I wired it, and they said it's fine.
