Five years ago in Kalifornia, bed parts and front clip cost me $1,000 for blasting alone.
I figure my time at $10/hour to hammer out the work. So even though the frame is taking about 16 hours to blast, I'll be way ahead of the $75/hr the blaster charges. I'm looking at 80 hours ahead now.
All part of the "California climate tax". But hey, it was 72° today, low humidity. Perfect for shoveling sand off the driveway.
