VPW sells a complete kit, but alot of it you can do yourself with some ingenuity. How original do you want it to be? If you are going to stay with the generator, send it out and have the windings changed for 12 volts. Change the coil, ignition, and voltage regulator to 12 volts, along with any lights and heater motors, and your done. If you get rid of the generator, and go with electronic ignition, you eliminate alot of other issues with need for regulators and resistors. Also the gauges will need to be swaped out for 12's. Early, first series 12v gauges will be an issue.
