my son's projects

I realize this is not a Power Wagon, but I am pleased with my son's project. He has been hired by a good friend of mine and his to do a conversion of the friend's very original '46 Ford sedan to a Woody. He's learning a lot about steaming, bending and shaping wood in the process. The attached picture shows the first four solid wood strips and some templates he made out of masonite to represent the recessed panels. The owner of the car wanted the solid wood to be maple and the panels will likely be mahogany. Thank you for tolerating my selfish indulgence. JH
