Rear shock mount ???

Anybody ever see any fatigue problems at the rear shock mount at frame?

I ask because the '51 truck I'm building has doublers there. Made from torched sections of a frame, nice round bend to match the Dodge frame. Not factory, by the other workmanship.

And I have a set of the later rear shock mount, the 56-68 weldment style. Worth anything?
