I haven't been spending much time on the PW forum lately but enjoyed the thread about the Ethelin doing damage to engine and carbs and was surprised some of my fellow pilots didn't check in on this one.
The 100 LL av-gas will evaporate and leave no residue and will also remove all traces of the gum if you run your engines on it before storing. Av-gas is more money and you will have to get it at an airport but a small price to pay for the results.
