I dont consider 1 year old gas as old. Consider this. Go buy a 1 year left over car or truck, do you think the dealer pumps out gas after a while and add's new. I started this past snow season plowing with my Bombardier (Chrysler 251 engine) with 1/2 tank of gas from early that spring. She fired righ up like it was 80 out.

Over 1 year, then I would mix it with new. And if for long term storage, use gas stabilizer, which I forgot to add to my Bomnbardier.
