1961 is the first year for trucks BUT you could not get one in a W300 unitl 63 i think, you either had to have a V8 or a 251 flathead. my D300 is a 61, cars I think might have had them in 1960 but not sure on that. notice not even a PCV valve in 61. it was optional.
