I have found EZ Flow Lithium Grease (apparently same as John Deere Corn Head Grease) to work very well in Dana 60 and 70 closed knuckle hubs. Grease, as far as I know, was never recommended for that application, maybe due to the higher highway speeds attainable? The factory call for WDX and up Power Wagons apparently is grease. I still think the EZ Flow (JD Corn Head) would work as well, or better, but obviously have no engineering skills or facts to support my theory. Maybe if those products had existed when they started to build these trucks, the recommendation might have been different?
