Not a sore subject, just a lot of opinions. The standard is chassis grease for the knuckles and two items to avoid:
- Grease that liquefies over time.
- Chassis grease that is to thin or light – some of the synthetics.
I prefer Castrol’s Heavy Duty Drum Brake grease for the bearings. It doesn’t liquefy. I also use it in the knuckles.
