.260 is new shoe thickness. if you need them relined take to a friction service shop in your area and they will reline and arc them to fit your drums for around 75 per axle. by the time 2/3rds of the lining is worn away it is time for a reline. If you take them in for reline ask for ABEX lining. nice and grabby. they squeak a bit when cold but only the first stop or 2 then they are quiet. they work great offroad as well.
