If you follow these sales you learn the lingo after a while. Basically "mutilate" means to destroy every part of it to the point where it can't be used as intended again. Generally that means running it through a grinder that reduces it to pieces below a certain size. On certain awkward things they'll allow crushing it with heavy machinery or cutting it up with a torch. M1 tank tracks are usually torch cut. Airplanes are usually torn into pieces with an excavator with a claw on it. They tell you when it's sufficiently mutilated.
