Do you think now in hindsight that your boots were the cause of your problems?
I recall an aborted hike we had on the A.T. in Maryland due to my daughters new boots that turned out to be too tight and created a blister very soon after starting out.
I have heard that some hikers get custom boots made by some guy in NH or VT.
