Dan,
I had a two axle bumper pull trailer for 4 years and on the advice of Paul in NY and several others went to a gooseneck and am glad I did.
I bought a 9 ton triaxle tilt and it has been great. Tracks like it's on rails and NO sway.
I am completely satisfied
