I only had one pair of dual matics and I offraoded that truck and never broke one. it wasa a V8 powered WC54. the cheap ones that VPW sells break very quickly when put to the test. I went thru 3 and then started running drive flanges when offroad and only used the lockouts onsnow days in the city. Dan makes a great looking WArn repop like Paul mentioned and someone in CA is also reproducing the Warn style hub. but at a higher price. If I needed any I would try to ge a set of the ones that are just a big knob you turn. cant remember the name right now. I have had 2 sets of those and never broke any and they were easier to engage or disengage than any other style I have seen. even when slimy with mud they turn easy.
