So, does that mean it's okay to use civilian sammi .223 in military 5.56 chamber, but its not okay to use military 5.56 in a non-military gun spec'd as .223 rem? What about all the various AR15s out there with barrels and receivers made by various outfits and made to look like M16s? Do they have a mil-spec chamber that will take both rounds, but with diminished accuracy when shooting .223, or are they really civilian chambers that are too tight for military ammo?
