Whatever you decide to use for the pipes, don't use a 90 elbow on the bottom. Instead, use a tee and extend the down pipe about 6" below the quick disconnect fitting that your tools will plug into. Put a radiator drain valve on the very bottom. The 6" drop will allow dirt, rust, water and all the other bad stuff to collect without ending up in you air tools or paint jobs.
