What about the engine wiring harness. I had mine on my old 74 Dodge develope some dried insulation and it created some odd problems. Then I had the alternator go bad and it heated and melted a few wires. Had to end up taking engine harness apart and redo some bad spots. It would run fine. Then spit and sputter, then no spark. Then it would have spark. Turn the key to start and nothing. Then hit as I let off the key.
