The way i see it you're upside down on any resto. If you get a truck for cheap it needs a ton of work. If you get a truck that doesn't need too much work you pay for it, it's all relative. The hours spent on body work alone can never be recovered, then add that to the price of parts the skyrocketing prices of paint and supplies,and all the screwing around with everything and you're upside down pretty fast. It's all a labor of love and the pride of taking something and making it good again.
