Absolutely not. Brake fittings are "inverted flare" fittings that seal by compressing the flared end of the tube against the conical part of the fitting. The threads should never see brake fluid. Their function is simply to press the flare surfaces together tightly. They aren't even tapered threads, so pipe dope isn't going to seal them anyway. If the fitting leaks, usually there's a tiny scratch or piece of dirt on one flare surface or the other. Most of the time, you just tighten it some more and it stops leaking. Until the nut strips out, and then you have to get a whole new brake line because there's no way to replace the nut after it's flared. So don't strip the nut out.
