I suggested one time that it wouldn't be too hard to rig up a choke cable to allow the distributor to be rotated from the cab. If any one really wants to get serious about hand crankng, they could mount the handle on the cable near the front of the truck. Personally, I would have to really have a reason to drive my WDX to be willing to roll off half the cable to get the crank in place. I'd probably park it on the hill above my house. :)
