I found I need at least 3/4" to 1" in the rear left and right in order to clear the handbrake cable and linkage. (Anyone know where I can get a new cable?)
I have some 3/8" rubber belting that is working well.
I am soaking the front blocks in Thompson's Water seal before installing them.
I will do the final adjusting at the time when fenders, hood, and radiator cowling are in place.
Only had to replace one bolt, the 3 1/2" x 5/8".
