That is NOT a Power-Wagon carb as used on the 1946-1953 T137 models (and later in conjunction with the mechanical belt-driven governor).

If you want it for parts, it would be a good source, but that is about all. The internals are almost identical to the Power-Wagon ET1, ET2, ET4, E7F1 and E7S1 carbs and it takes the same rebuild and gasket kits as the Power-Wagon version.

The carb in the auction was designed for an industrial application. The problem in trying to make it work on a Power-Wagon is that the governor is exactly a mirror image of what the trucks require. If it had been the same governor, just mounted on the wrong side, it would be easy to modify by disassembling and mounting it to the engine side as required. But, it is a mirror image.

If you disassemble it, roll it over, and mount it to the engine side, it will be upside down and the velocity will occure across the throttle plate in the exact opposite direction from which it was designed. If you rotate the governor about the axis of the bore and reinstall it on the engine side, the governor will be pointing to the radiator and the throttle linkages will all be backwards. The same thing will happen if you rotate the whole carburetor so the fuel inlet is over the head of the engine.

If you really need a carb, it would be better than nothing if you are willing to put some work into it and figure out the linkage issues, but it will never look or operate like an original Power-Wagon carb.
