Not long ago on the Tulalip Indian reservation, a woman called 911 to report there was a vicious dog in her yard that tried to attack her when she went outside her house. The dog wouldn't leave and she was scared to go outside. The dispatcher sent a county deputy out, but dogs weren't his job, so he called county animal control. The dog catcher decided it wasn't his job because it was on the res and was presumably an Indian dog. So eventually after enough consultation they pushed it on down to the tribal office, which sent out some guy in a pickup truck and no uniform who promptly shot the dog and threw it into the bushes.
