At present, I'm thinking that I will sell this, pickup at it's current location in Carlsbad, NM for the highest bid over $8,000. on April 15, 2011. Cash preferred.

Originally purchased w/o bed by Brookhaven National Lab, I got it from Princeton Plasma Physics Lab just as they had started to store it outside. Dept of Energy maintenance records from 1963 - 1994. Rebuilt 230 cid flathead engine installed during this period; likely less than 1,000 miles on it.

Series 2 bed installed, Braden MU-2 winch and bumper installed. Rewired w fuse block and period repro switch panel. One wire GM alternator (60 AMP?). New bed wood and strips. A few additional candlepower of lights tastefully (I think) installed for night driving. Original Dodge Truck Dark Green paint applied ~ 10 years ago (base coat/clearcoat) on top of DP-40 epoxy after sandblasting. Garaged. Interior renewed with VPW kits and a lot of TLC.

Disk brake kit installed (professionally). Locking hubs. Custom running boards/hangers. New exhaust, Electric fuel pump. Heater. New glovebox. Cigarette lighter (tho non smoking).

This truck is not perfect, and I am quite willing to discuss its shortcomings. Almost all of the work was done by me as a hobby. This vehicle is currently licensed in the State of New Mexico with a clear title.

I have a bunch of parts (and PWAs) which can be negotiated. Also available: rebuilt/modified 251 engine w external full flow oil filter, Asche cam, dual intake and exhaust (and other goodies)

I'll add to these - there are plenty more photos documenting the work.
