The rear fenders are round.....the runner boards are flat. The front fenders make a flat area near the top, with radius towards the front, then curve towards the bottom, making them slope downwards. Not at all flat from the side perspective. On the other hand, they are flat if you perceive them looking straight down, whilst standing on the flat runner board. Flat areas forward of the runner board make a safe step to get onto something higher than the truck......but in the end, the fenders are round, not flat....
