Leigh,

I have a 2010 PW that I bought new. I believe that over a short period of use the rubber isolation bushings they use in the new vehicles are not holding up. They are great in grandma's car so she feels nice and cushy while driving to church but for vehicles that get worked they stretch, wear, and give way too easy.

My transfer case lever moves a lot farther now under acceleration than it did when new. It will actually move back so far as to put itself back in 2wd if I have anything between the lever and the seat. I think eventually it will start hitting the seat and popping out.

The new Challengers have the same "technology" in the rear suspension that quickly breaks down on low milage cars and it ain't pretty when you pop the clutch.

I do not have a clunk as you described yet but I planned on having an inspection done on it next time its at the dealer.
