Maybe this is what is sitting in some crates in a gov. warehouse here somewhere

THE REAL AND ORIGINAL POWER WAGON?
I used to build them NEW at the Dodge Truck Assembly Plant in Warren, Michigan. Then we would disassemble most of them into a BOX/KIT FORM and export.
They went out of production in '72.
The final year had 225 slant 6's, duel braking system and swing pedals, instead of the old L-Head 6 and pedals through the floor.
Their factory designation was "WM-300" with a fully enclosed cab, Bench seat, tip out front windshield, pick-up box, Super wide fenders and a ton of ground clearance.
The all open (2 canvas covered bucket seats, no doors or rear of the cab, drop down windshield) Military model was also a WM-300 but with "M-Dap" classification. Those went out of production in 1970.
They were very similar from beginning (1937) to end. I remember Dodge Truck Division still had current Blue Prints for many parts originally dated back then.
Toughest 4WD vehicle there ever could be.
Thats why they lasted so long. International Harvester, Willys, GM and Ford versions (during WWII) just couldn't measure up.
The WM-300 was always (though special order) available NEW from DODGE DEALERS in Canada. Just couldn't sell, resell or license them domesticaly here in the US.
There are quite a few sitting and running around up there still, I'm told.
Good Luck,
Terry
