I dont think timming is the problem. Its always good to have a helper and can you load it in gear to make it run wrong without driving it. Make sure the battery voltage is right and not dropping. Id go over the ignition parts close. AND did you try the choke thing. When it breaks up pull the choke out to see if it helps. Good luck. Just some more ideas??? Bill.
