Confirmed I have the 318-3 super premium engine and bellhousing. Block is stamped C318 3 4-10, indicating it was made April, 10 of 1966 or 1967. Came out of a 1967 D500 grain truck in Kansas. Also has the wishbone front engine mounting bracket that shares the same front engine mount as the WM300s with the 251 engines. Has the center-dump exhaust manifolds with no heat risers. Has the water pump with the outlet tube on the driver side, same as the WM300 radiator.

My buddy Earl has a later 318 LA with the rear sump oil pan, power steering pump, and a few other goodies I will need, including the elusive NP-435 transmission with dual PTO outlets. I am picking up a clean-rust free western frame to swap him for parts.

I am looking for the smaller starter with the remote solenoid if anyone has a lead on one. Would also appreciate any advise on intake manifold and carbs. Currently has a singel carb with governor.

Question - will the DTA headers fit in the WDX-WM300 stle Power Wagons? Dou you know if there would be enough room to get mufflers on and run tailpipes out the sides before running into the joint between the cab and bed for the swivel frame?

Thanks.
