of tinned wire and shrink tube connectors. i use them on my boat and have never had a failure. i used a precision wiring repro harness on my command car, but used anchor cable and connectors on anything to do with the battery, starter and horn. nice stuff to work with but pricey. you can get it at west marine and i believe they are called port supply on the west coast. maui dave had good luck using wiring harnesses from busses if i recall. long runs of nice colored wires.
