OT Towing gear ratio question

I am getting a 2011 Ford F-350 SRW 6.7 diesel with 6 speed automatic transmission to tow my Power Wagons. Made in the USA. Question is should I order the 3.55 locking axle with 20" rims or the 3.31 locking axle with 18" rims. I tow in steep mountainous terrain on the east coast and will use the truck off road from time to time on the farm and hunting and camping etc. I am leaning toward the 3.55s. Thanks.
