should be fine. all the flatehads and slant 6 are all about the same cubic inches so jetting should be perfect. I had a D300 dually wiht 318-2 poly and someone had put a slant six 2 barrel on it. it got 18 mpg on the highway! but it lacked in power. put the stock carb on and mileage dropped to 12 but power was way up. so if it is a littel small maybe you will just use less fuel.

you can see the mopar kits on ebay fo the plymouths and desotos use the same bell crank parts as the dodge truck. the link to carb and the arm on carb is what changed more by year and model, like with or without governor, and they had different height manifolds on some cars and trucks as a way of creating different torque curves. like long runners of later engines, same rules apply toflatheads.
