Even though they have a separate Division now, it still says "DODGE" on the VIN and if you pop the hood on a Cummins powered Ram, it says DODGE right on the valve cover... = )

Chrysler simply wanted to change the design between the the car and trucks s they now have two separate design studios. Over time you will see less and less of the Ram "cross-hair" grill on the cars.
